COLDFLEX® General
Use Instructions - Wraps |
COLDFLEX® is simple
to use and is packaged in reusable bags and containers.
Most wraps come in retail jars with inner bags
for a long shelf-life. Blankets and pads come
in resealable Ziploc bags. Other items may come
in cases with individual labels for each.
The instructions listed here
are basic instructions for the wrap to provide
an example of ease-of-use. All products come
with their own instructions and will vary from
product to product. Sterile items are not reuseable
as "sterile" once they have been used. |
COLDFLEX® also allows freedom of
movement, So that activities may be continued while
relieving the pain and discomfort of the injury.
1.
Remove
COLDFLEX from package, and remove outside film from
wrap.
2.
Unroll
COLDFLEX wraps from blue core or remove pads and
blankets from plastic
bags.
3.
If
using wraps, be sure the end of the wrap is on
top of another layer and hold for about 10 seconds
to form a secure bond.
4.
All
COLDFLEX products can be cut easily with scissors.
To wrap or cover a larger area, use a second wrap,
pad or blanket.
5.
COLDFLEX
sticks to itself allowing freedom of movement.
For a more secure wrap, tuck under last wrap or
secure with Sports or Vet Tape.
6.
Do not cover wraps, pads or blankets with non-breathable
material. Evaporation is needed for product to
work effectively.
Note: Do
Not Use COLDFLEX if it is dehydrated of feels dry
to the touch. Do not place an outer wrap over COLDFLEX
, as this will slow down the evaporation process.
Not recommended for use on open wounds. (Non
sterile product)
