COLDFLEX® self-cooling sterile medical and non sterile medical products work by safely REMOVING heat from the body, not forcing cold into the soft-tissues.

Although COLDFLEX® may feel slightly warm to the touch while in use, the skin and muscle tissues underneath will be cold, experiencing decreases in temperature of up to 30-degrees Fahrenheit!
