COLDFLEX® Cold Compression Bandages for sprains and swelling related injuries is a stretchable polyurethane foam saturated with hydro-gel that cools at room temperature.

COLDFLEX® combines the compression of an elastic bandage with cooling to deliver pain and swelling relief in one easy-to-use wrap. COLDFLEX® has been designed to reduce swelling and relieve pain from strains,sprains, bruises, insect bites and any swelling injury and is recommended by trainers, physical therapists and physicians around the world.

Most all other self-cooling products are alcohol based and that is definitely not the type of product you want to use. Alcohol can cause surface blood vessels to dilate and actually increase swelling of soft-tissues, plus it rapidly evaporates, cooling surface tissues but having little effect on deeper muscle tissue where it is needed.

COLDFLEX® however, removes heat by evaporation via a unique formula, pulling heat from deep within the muscle tissues, while providing simultaneous cooling and compression which helps reduce and prevent edema. And because COLDFLEX® is a unique, hydro-gel formula, the wrap requires only water to regenerate so that you can use it again and again, costing you just pennies per use

The COLDFLEX® Compress is made from polyurethane foam that can be frozen and remain completely flexible and cool for hours without the risk of frostbite.

It is manufactured into popular sizes designed to fit common areas of pain and swelling including jaws, necks, knees, lower back, wrists, ankles and shoulders. Its special insulator feature prevents exposure, which can lead to frostbite and directs cold to injured area only, making it more effective than the leading cold packs. (COLDFLEX® Compress comes furnished with stockinette to help hold the compress directly over the injured area.)
